I just love watching some badass woman go all berserk and kick the guys'  (and other girls')  asses.  Especially when they laugh and call her things like 'little girl' first.  This is a live-action list of those women from the show The 100 . Criteria: -Must be in a fantasy or period piece  (exceptions where time-travel is involved) . -Must wear some type of armor  (cloth, fur, etc. armor acceptable) . -Must actually be capable of fighting  (not just wearing armor for show). -Must wield a weapon other than a gun  (i.e. a staff, a bow, a sword, etc) . Daenerys Targaryen is one of the main characters on Game of Thrones or in the book series, A Song of Ica and Fire .  She's one of those truly layered, full-circle characters.  Is this why people love her so much?  I can tell you why I do.  She starts off as nothing but a bargaining chip for advancing the power of men and evolves into this badass warrior queen.  That whole journey aside, she's constantly learning and adapting and isn't that the type of character you naturally root for?  She falls damn-near constantly but absolutely refuses to bow down or give up.  So call her what you want: Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Mother of Dragons, Daenerys Stormborn or The Queen Across the Sea.  She's every single one of them.  Oh, yeah... she also has her own dragons . ...from Game of Thrones or A Song of Ice and Fire, right??  So, here's a quick rundown:  White walkers or 'Others,' as they're called in the books, are basically scary ice people.  They are not zombies, but sentient beings who can only be killed with dragon glass (obsidian) or dragon steel (Valyrian steel).  Aside from being scary and mysterious, they are also powerful necromancers and anyone who falls in battle with them will rise up again as a 'Wight.'  These are essentially zombies and they look just like they did when they died, except now they share the glowing blue eyes of their makers, the White Walkers.
