Fascinating Fanart: Oracle

First of all, if you're an artist of any kind and you love this character like I do-draw her!  There is not nearly enough art out there representing her.  Barbara Gordon's story is pretty well known.  She's the daughter of Commissioner Jim Gordon and becomes Batman's associate, Batgirl.  The part you may not know is that at one point, the Joker shoots her in the spine and paralyzes her.  It's sad, but it's part of the story (or it was...comics!!  Gah!).  Does she give up?  Does she decide to go live a normal life?  NO.  Like a total badass, she takes up the new mantle of 'Oracle' and keeps track of everything going on in Gotham, reporting to Batman as usual.  She's a hero in every sense of the word and one of the most treasured characters in comics.
