Nerdy Werewolf

It was really a toss-up.  Do I do classic movie monsters, or do I go look for stunning art related to my favorite Halloween movie of all time?!  Okay, so it wasn't really a toss up.  Here's the deal, people: Have you not seen Trick 'r Treat ?  Because it's damn near perfect and a horror fan's fondest wish.  It's gory where it needs to be while not putting you off, it's got surprises left and right and of course, just the right amount of humor.  Here's to Sam!   Sam by Chris Uminga

◩ ◪ ⬔ ⬕ ◩ ◪ ⬔ ⬕ ◩ ◪ ⬔ ⬕ Patrick Fugit is so interesting.  He's normally front-and-center as the main character, except it's usually in a weird little indie film that turns out to be amazing.  Every now and again he does a supporting role that is usually as memorable as the main role for whatever reason. He's not one of those actors that just takes whatever comes his way...you can tell he chooses what he wants to do and won't take anything less.  I think it makes him a better actor. ◩ ◪ ⬔ ⬕ ◩ ◪ ⬔ ⬕ ◩ ◪ ⬔ ⬕

Here are some of my favorite pieces from my favorite child-friendly (I think) Halloween movies:   Casper , Hocus Pocus and A Nightmare Before Christmas.  Can you think of any movies like this that are more modern?  Because I'd love to see this genre added to! Sally by lovelyzitalee
