Fascinating Fanart: Black Canary

Man! This one was harder than I thought it'd be! I thought I'd just go find some awesome pieces of Dinah Lance. All the internet offered up was a bunch of sultry (and uncomfortable-looking) poses that didn't represent her in the way I'd imagine she'd actually lounge around. I mean, surely if the bottom half of your costume consisted of nothing but fishnet stockings, you'd lay around with your butt in the air all the time, am I right?? Ew. That said, hats off to the artists listed below for creating these beautiful portraits that are still sexy, but not in a degrading way.

Okay, so no one can change the fact that her costume is usually pretty revealing, but as usual, we're here to celebrate the character. Not what she is or isn't wearing. Her character is a total badass!! She's tough as nails and she's got the fight in her to back it up. One of the reasons Oliver Queen (Green Arrow) is so head-over-heals for her is that she can wipe the floor with him-if she so chooses. She's one of the few female characters that rarely uses seduction to get what she wants. She'd rather punch it out of you...or use her sonic scream to burst your eardrums. Whichever comes first.
