So do you want the good news or the bad news?  We'll just rip that bandaid off.  I'll only be doing 'Fascinating Fanart' posts every other week-starting now.  This was never intended to be a blog dedicated to fan art, as amazing as it is!  My hope is that I'll have more time to post other content such as reviews and lists. So, onward...Gravity Falls!!!  Were you guys lucky enough to see this eerie, creative show?  Did you enjoy shows like Courage the Cowardly Dog, Over the Garden Wall, Aaahh! Real Monsters or Invader Zim?  That is to say: super creepy, extremely weird and entertaining cartoons?  Well, you should definitely check this one out, then...because damn.  It's a true shame that it only got two seasons, but man, are they worth watching!  Can you pick out a favorite moment? Fairy tales, literary nonsense, tall tales...whatever you want to call them.  I'm a sucker for a wonderfully told, beautifully presented one.  Especially when they come in live-action form.  There's something... magical  when it's done right.  Some of these are taken right from the pages of a book, some are new takes on old tales.  If you get surprised by a title, stop and think about it for a second.  It'll make sense. :)  This time, let's see what kind of Beasts we've got. Aw, man...I'm so thrilled Gotham is coming back.  Looking at all this fan art and remembering how the past couple of seasons just kept getting better...I'm ready.  I couldn't find any really good art of Hugo Strange, Lee, Butch or the Court of Owls.  That's okay, though...next post.  People do seem to love drawing Penguin, though.  I get it.  He's got...personality (I'm making a winky-face).  Anywho, enjoy this awesome fan art as you wait for the new season to start! ◩ ◪ ⬔ ⬕ ◩ ◪ ⬔ ⬕ ◩ ◪ ⬔ ⬕ Are you wondering who this man is, or why he looks so familiar?  I bet if you scroll through this whole post, not only will you discover that you already know him, but you're already a fan.  Clancy Brown is known for playing diabolical villains, military or the police and quirky side characters.  ...And that doesn't begin to scratch the surface of what this man has contributed to voice acting. Need a deep, threatening voice to bring a character to life in animation?  He's definitely a go-to.  That doesn't stop him from showing up in the the most random live-action things.  He does it all..and hopefully we'll just continue to be surprised and delighted when we see or hear him. ◩ ◪ ⬔ ⬕ ◩ ◪ ⬔ ⬕ ◩ ◪ ⬔ ⬕

You know what I love about Gambit?  Everything.  I think it's probably his attitude that draws people in though.  He's consistently having a blast or at least finding whatever humor there may be to find in any situation.  Got that constant laid-back thing going.  Also, how many comic characters have a thick Cajun accent?  How many grew up in a thieves' guild?  He's got that good guy/bad guy thing that Catwoman has.  Maybe he'll help you out, but if it doesn't benefit him, maybe he won't. Did I mention that he can make things explode with his mind?  Okay, so he transfers energy into inanimate objects and then they explode, but still .  His name is Remy Lebeau, a lovely New Orleans-style name; his code name is Gambit, which is perfect for a master thief and his nickname is the Ragin' Cajun.  Oh, yeah, and he totally landed Rogue.  So, you know...yay, Gambit! You remember that ' Incredible Hulk ' show with Lou Ferrigno ?  You can thank them for giving us She-Hulk.  I'm serious!  The network was so pleased with the ratings 'Hulk' was getting, that they wanted to create a female spin-off.  The project didn't pan out and Marvel hurriedly created their own female Hulk, thus giving them exclusive rights.   Jennifer Walters is the cousin of the Incredible Hulk, Bruce Banner, as well as an excellent attorney. After being mortally wounded, the only way Bruce could save her was by giving her an emergency blood transfusion.  Of course the Hulk has gamma-radiated blood, so....She-Hulk!  You'll notice in most of these depictions of her, she's either full-on smiling, or she's got that little knowing smirk.  'Cause she knows she's got you beat.
